Bound and Gagged was written as part of my residency stay at DPC. Used in one of their Easter services, it was called on to set a mood for the Passion story. Often times it seems like it’s a story that gets watered down and pretty-fied, neglecting the violence, reality and Truth of the event. This was my attempt to counteract that tendency and to make the story breathe a little more. With the intensity that it actually carries.
